2013 Critical Mass Top 50 Exhibit at Houston Center for Photography

Each year, we produce a group exhibition from the Critical Mass Top 50. In the last few years, the show has traveled across the country, making stops at fantastic photo venues from coast to coast. The 2013 Top 50 exhibition is now at Houston Center for Photography (until July 6th!) and we thought we’d share some beautiful installation shots with you. The exhibition was curated by Jessica Johnston, Assistant Curator at the George Eastman House. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by before July 6th – it’s one gorgeous show. To see portfolios by all of the participating artists, take a look at the Top 50.

This coming year, the Critical Mass Top 50 show will be curated by Dr. Rebecca Senf, Curator at both the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson and the Phoenix Art Museum. The show will travel to Guatemala to be on exhibit during the GuatePhoto International Photography Festival.

Excited? There’s still time to register for Critical Mass 2014.

Without further ado, here are the installation shots from HCP. We love this show!
