The Critical Mass TOP 50 Exhibition has been curated by Arnika Dawkins, founder of Arnika Dawkins Gallery in Atlanta (titled Imminent Existence) and will be hosted by Photographic Center Northwest in Seattle in the spring of 2023!
The Critical Mass Solo Show Award will happen in collaboration with the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, California in the fall of 2023! A Critical Mass Finalist has been selected for this award – congratulations, Landry Major!
Another Critical Mass Solo Show Award will happen in collaboration with Blue Sky Gallery in Portland, Oregon – the exhibition is slated for April, 2023. A Critical Mass Finalist has been selected for this award – congratulations to Liliana Guzmán!
The Print Collecting Initiative – all 200 Finalists (and Jurors!) will be gifted a print by Marisol Mendez (Duranzo, 2019 from her MADRE series), hand printed on Hahnemühle PhotoRag® 308 paper. Thank you to Hahnemühle and Pro Photo Supply for their generous support of this special initiative! All prints have been sent out as of December 7th, 2022.
Michael Reichmann Project Grants – Three Critical Mass 2022 Finalists have been awarded $1,000 cash grants each to continue a project or start a new one! Congratulations to Sam Geballe, Fazilat Soukhakian, and Arrayah Loynd! Check out the details on our blog.
