Born in 1936 near Pelahatchie, Mississippi, twin sisters Fay and Gay have never been apart. They built their home in 1969 and share all household duties side by side, as well as a passion for knitting, solving puzzles and making their famous homemade Divinity candy. Their residence is adorned with twin-inspired artwork, poems, porcelain figurines and framed puzzles of cherished family memories. Within their wardrobe are two sets of every outfit as they still prefer to dress in matching attire. Their professional lives have been intertwined as well, sharing careers and ultimately retiring together. Today you’ll often find Fay and Gay front porch sitting, greeting passersby with a smile and a wave, enjoying the simple pleasure of each other’s company.
