LAURA MOYA (Executive Director)
Laura Moya has a background in documentary photography and film production and promotion. She has worked for photoeye Gallery in Santa Fe, the Northwest Film Center in Portland, and the Sundance Institute in Park City, where she was manager for the 'House of Docs', a venue for documentary filmmakers at the the Sundance Film Festival. Working for Sockeye Creative, she produced the film installations for the Oregon Historical Society Museum's new wing (one winning the 2005 MUSE award). She co-directed and produced the film, "Dutch Harbor - Where the Sea Breaks It's Back", which was filmed in Alaska's Aleutian islands. It has been screened in over 60 U.S. and international engagements.
 
CHRISTOPHER RAUSCHENBERG
Christopher Rauschenberg is a photographer who has had 77 solo shows in six countries. He is a co-founder and past president of Photolucida. He is a co-founder and co-director of Blue Sky Gallery where he has co-curated and co-produced over 600 solo exhibitions and 45 group shows and has edited and produced over 50 art and photography publications. He is a member and co-founder of the Nine Gallery and is the founder of the Portland Grid Project. He has done portfolio reviews at every Houston FotoFest since 1988 and at Photo Americas (Portland, Oregon), Rhubarb Rhubarb (Birmingham, England), Foto Arte (Brasilia), the Month of Photography in Bratislava and the Month of Photography in Montreal, as well as the informal reviews at the Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie in Arles, France.
 
CHERIE HISER
Cherie Hiser is an internationally recognized artist, teacher, innovater, curator and consultant in the field. She founded and works with numerous photography programs around the country including: The Center of the Eye (Aspen), Anderson Ranch Art Center (Snowmass, Colorado), Sun Valley Center for the Arts and Humanities (Idaho), Ansel Adams Friends of Photography (Carmel, Calif), PhotoWorks NorthWest (Portland, OR). She has been on the Board of Directors for Photoamericas/Photolucida since 1999 and was Chairperson of the Fine Art Auctions in 2000 and 2001. She is a third generation Portlander and continues to be active locally and nationally with teaching photography; publishing, exhibiting and selling her work; curating and advocating for other artists.
 
LAURA VALENTI
Laura Valenti is the Program Director of Newspace Center for Photography, a nonprofit school, community darkroom, studio, and gallery in Portland, OR. She is a photographer and traditional darkroom teacher, and leads Portlanders on wacky photo field trips. Laura has worked with "Youth in Focus," a Seattle program teaching photography to "at-risk" teens and continues to work to make photography accessible to the larger community in Portland. She has studied photography at Photographic Center Northwest and at Reed College, where she holds a degree.
 
ANN KENDELLEN
Ann Kendellen is a photographer who has lived in Portland since 1986. After studying photography in Colorado, she served as a docent for the Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego. She joined Blue Sky Gallery in 1987 and has co-curated its shows since then. She also serves on their Board of Directors. She has either volunteered or conducted portfolio reviews for Photoamericas/Photolucida since its founding. Ann's photographic work includes images produced for the Portland Grid Project since its start in 1996.
 
JIM LEISY (Board Treasurer)
Jim Leisy is a book editor, photographer, and a photography activist. In 2005 he co-curated an exhibition for the benefit of Portlands Habitat for Humanity entitled People in Places. Currently he serves on the board of the Photography Council of the Portland Art Museum as treasurer.
 
BRYAN WOLF
Bryan Wolf is a die-hard film photographer, traditional custom printer and photography teacher. He is the founder of Lightleak, a group of 12 creative Portland photographers, and he is an active member of the Portland Grid Project. In addition to working on his own long-term personal documentary projects, he is currently working toward publishing a journal of contemporary photography.
   
SHAWN RECORDS (Board President and Secretary)
Shawn Records holds a BA from Boise State University and an MFA from Syracuse University. His work has been shown at Blue Sky Gallery (Portland), the Portland Art Museum, the Whatcom Museum of History and Art (Bellingham, WA), the Bronx River Arts Center (Bronx, NY) and the Jen Bekman Gallery (NYC), among others. His work has also been published in DoubleTake, Ripe, Portland Modern, Photography Quarterly, Practice: New Writing and Art, and included in "Around the Corner: a Photo Essay" by Lucy R. Lippard.
   
STU LEVY
Stu Levy is a photographer and has been a workshop instructor for 20 years. He is a photography collector and is President of the Photography Council of the Portland Art Museum. Stu's photographs involve large format black and white landscapes and "Grid-Portraits". A One Picture Book will be published this year by Nazraeli Press of his portrait of Carl Chiarenza, entitled “Cranial Czar, Eh?”.
   
LAURA RUSSELL
Laura Russell is the owner of 23 Sandy Gallery in Portland, which exhibits contemporary photography, artist books and other graphic arts. Laura is also a photographer and book artist who creates handmade artist books that incorporate her own urban landscape photographs. She has shown her work around the country and her artist books are collected by many museums and university libraries; including the University of California, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Tate Collection in London.
